Just wanted to say, if it hasn't been said before...Go NAPS!
My son is so fired up at this opportunity. He has always dreamed of going to the Naval Academy. When he was in the 10th grade the Head Coach of Navy gave him his visor and signed it after a game. My son told the coach that he wanted to play ball one day at Navy. He hopes to give the Head Coach his visor back one day.

GO NAVY!

Awesome story! Since your going maybe you'll know the answers to some of my questions:)
Do you have to take your birth certificate/SSN card/diploma when going to the recruiting station? I feel like I read that somewhere but at the same time I wouldn't be going to the prep school if I didn't already have those things!
Also, in the welcome packet it talks about bringing tennis shoes but not what color they should be. Anything in particular? (White/gray/etc.)

I think as long as they are running shoes. Good Luck. you will need all you can get :thumb:

they do not care what color or style tennis shoes you have. We had a guy there with fluorescent multicolored shoes and the trainers thought it was funny.

Naps parents facebook

Is there a NAPS Parents Facebook Site?

Yes. Also one for the students. If you just do a search for NAPS you will get a list and you will see the one for parents.

Another question, are we expected to bring all the listed academic supplies on I-Day? I feel like that'd be a lot to carry and your not using it till the academic year? Or do we buy it all once we get there, possibly after Indoc...

Is there a NAPS Parents Facebook Site?

Obviously I'm not proficient at social media because I'm having trouble finding the NAPS Parents Facebook Site. I searched NAPS, but didn't see the parent option. I've tried spelling it out but still no luck. Can any body help with some more specific instructions? Feel free to PM.

NAPS CLASS 2015 PARENTS. submit your name and you should hear back in a few days.
