Anyone else having an extremely difficult time find a GBR slot? Seems like no schools have slots allocated.

A lot of times there isn't a "slot" per se, but a convincing 4187 that proves that your school or BN needs a GBR.

Make sure your cadre is behind you and submit all the required paperwork and you should be good.

A 4187 won't do anything if there arent funds and more slots seem go to reserve/guard LTs that live in the area. that is the trend I have seen and heard because it is a lot cheaper.

My school which was a rather large program only ever had guard or reserve GBR slots although in the last active didn't seen that difficult to get. But look at the current budget.....

The school I commissioned from has 4 GBR slots but I'm trying to find one in my home state.

They are allocated by brigade, either the slots exist or they don't.

Don't you have to have a BOLC date first before you can apply?
