Good Joke Biden!

So, I'm watching Hannity on Fox right now. They flashed to a clip of USAFA graduation today with Vice President Biden making a joke about the Prez and a broken teleprompter. I was just excited to see the graduation!

It made CNN, as well. A lot of people were hoping for something funny like this. The VP has a tendency to make comments that get blown out of proportion. (Although this one wasn't THAT bad.)

When he said it, I thought that line might end up on the news...

Overall, I enjoyed the speech. He is a good speaker. He also chatted and took a few pictures with my squad. (One perk of sitting on stage for 4 hours...glad I won't have to do that again, anytime soon!)

Ha, it was pretty funny. Kind of undermining the boss though. I liked how you could hear the wind blow just before the "thud".

I'll be out there next week for something, looking forward to finally seeing another academy...all that's left is USMA, and then I've seen 'em all.

I thought the teleprompter gaff was just normal Joe. My head turned when he talked about being at 900,000 feet in a helicopter over afgahnistan. Not sure but I think that might be the first lunar helicopter.

I am sorry I couldn't make it out for Duckie, but 4 hours in the sun made me glad I was in my family room. I hope 2011 has a speaker that doesn't go on for an hour. The President was much briefer at USNA, although I am still not sure he felt comfortable there.

All in All still a thrill to be presented your diploma by the President or VP

Yeah, I'm glad I was not in the camera frame when he said the "900,000 feet" bit. I know my face screwed up just a bit. Meh, reading numbers can get people mixed up during speaches. I know I usually mess up numbers whenever I give a speech in German!
