Got a text - no change

I got a text from Cadet Command telling me to check my portal. NO CHANGE - Still says BOARDED
What gives?

It was just notifying everyone, that if you got the scholarship it should say winner if not it should still say boarded. It got my hopes up as well.

After that message, my email inbox started blowing up with AROTC messages from schools that have not made their mission quotas....go figure.....

Check out Eastern Carolina the recruitment officer is on the forum now. After hearing all the amazing training options they have wish DS had visited them as well but he has a great mentor at AUM so I guess it is whatever is best for you. In some cases you may even do better by not getting a National since you may be a match they want to offer a 4 year school based to. Pretty sure AUM may also have some school based scholarships my DS really loves it there and loves the staff. Once they are covered by the ROTC scholarship room is covered and they also give in state tuition if you have a 3.0 and not positive on the ACT/SAT score. Warhawk scholarship of 16K for 4 year is added to make the first year or semester affordable and then is there to cover board and books/supplies over the AROTC allotment.
