Just looked at my file and I see the following note for GPA
Your GPA listed may be refigured by USAFA and may not match the GPA reported by your school.

What scale do they figure it on? Is the AFA using a 4.0 scale or a 5.0 scale? Mine is listed as a 4.00, but I don't know if that is good or bad???

Curious because I'm homeschooled and they seemed to find it a bit difficult to evaluate my transcript (took a long time).

It's listed from the 4.0 scale.

Thanks -- feeling much better :thumb:

Just an FYI. Part of your application process was to supply the academy with your School's Profile. Because education is different nationally, to states, to school districts, to private, to public, to home, to AP vs IB vs Honor Classes.....; it can be quite difficult to compare "Apples to Cam Shafts". That is why any grades that are "Weighted" and submitted to the academy, will most likely be changed. Not only because of the 4.0gpa standard, but because of the various standards between schools. Normally, un-weighted GPA's aren't really adjusted; but they can be. Anyway, I definitely wouldn't want to work at admissions. Best of luck to you. Mike....
