Does USNA take unweighted GPA? Or both unweighted and weighted? And if they take both, which do they care about most, or is it mainly class standing/rank?

It's my understanding they look more at class rank. The difficulty of your course load is also factored in, so there maybe some degree of "weighting" of GPA performed by admissions. My DS school doesn't weight GPA so his was reported to the Academy as a 4.0 even though most of his courses were AP and honors. I'm sure one of the BGOs could chime in to better explain how the Academy factors in course difficulty.

They put alot of weight on the ACT and SAT they do look at class rank but it holds less weight than the standard tests. This is what each academy has said.
