What extent do 2nd semester grades play in my attendance of the Academy? I have a D- in Calculus BC, the lowest grade I have ever gotten. I know that if I fail a class I must report it to the academy, and of course they want my final transcript, so they'll know about all of my grades. I am positive that I wont fail the class since grades will be finalized at 7:30 tomorrow morning.
My (weighted) GPA for this semester is actually higher than the GPA I was accepted into the Academy with, because I took a course load of 9 classes this semester (6 AP) and did pretty well in everything else.
I definitely wasn't accepted into the Academy for my grades, but instead for other honors (though I'm not a recruited athlete). Taking into account the difficulty of the class, my course load, and my success in the rest of my classes, will the Academy let this one slide? Or, will I be having a long talk with somebody from the Academy about this?
