Graduation Parties

Party!

Hi all,

We're also thinking about a tropical vacation before plebe summer... we're looking into the Caribbean... or something. Lots of fun summer fun to get ready for plebe summer and water polo season at USNA.

Also, I am thinking a low key lunch or something just with immediate family for graduation since DS goes to project graduation that night. We plan to leave for our family vacation the next day after project graduation... we hope to have a fun festive "anchors away" party before he leaves for IDAY.

Ah, the planning.... boy these months are going to go fast!!

Ideas

I am loving all of these party ideas, particularly the cards and that premise letter.

DS doesn't finish high school until June 24, so that leaves very little time to get ready and have a grad party. We actually took our last family vacation in August 2013 knowing that if everything went his way, we would have time for one after graduation.

BFE in the mailbox yesterday....but it was from our timeshare company. Made for a good laugh.

Keep these good ideas coming. Great distractors!
 
Heyriddle, that sounds like a NY graduation date. DS went CG prep, so timing was less of an issue. His buddy from nursery school went direct to USNA. His graduation party was a week before I-Day, as graduation was Saturday and I-Day Monday.

We are in CA. So graduation Tuesday, party Saturday, then fly back east for wherever DS ends up on Sunday.
