Just wanted to take a second and thank everyone on this forum( esp. ChristCorp) for all the information. It seems like just yesterday we were watching the bus pull away. It truly is hard to believe the journey is coming to an end. What a ride-the basic pics from Web Guy-PW's- football games, Thanksgivings, phone calls, finals, recognition, survival training, acronym homework to have a conversation and now graduation. It is a journey. Parent's hang in there-you'll make it and so will your Cadets. There are struggles but you'll be amazed at the transformation that takes place right in front of your eyes. Good Luck to all.

Congratulations MB 13. For someone getting ready to watch that bus pull away, I found your post encouraging. Emotions are all over the place at our house right now. Excited one minute, anxious the next. Sometimes it feels like 2018 is a million years away and Colorado Springs is a million miles. DS is gonna be on that bus in a little over a month. I'm gonna try to remember some of what you said.

Will do. I also read your advice on the window seat on "The big five-oh" thread. Any special insight as to why?

The people in the aisle seats get more 'attention' on the bus than the window seat passengers. Cadre have to lean across to yell, so it is a bit quieter, too.

Bus ride video (Look at 3:57)

DS and I watched video together.
There are two ways to learn: (1) mentors or (2) mistakes. Dad, You have served as a mentor in this situation. Thanks.

Definite congrata on the graduation. Its been a long road but when you look back, it sure goes by fast. And the older you get, the faster it goes. Now, a new chapter and adventure begins. Congrats and best of luck to our new commissioned officer. Mike.
