My family, and my dd were blessed tremendously today when we received a phone call from our congressmans' office saying that she has received an appointment to West Point. I know that there is a lot of hard work ahead for my dd, but we know that we have been given an honor that is not bestowed upon many. I have lurked on this forum for weeks now, and learned so much from all the great people on this forum and i want to say thank you!

Congratulations to you and your DD. We received the same phone call today and my DS and our family are very excited. I also have been on this forum a few times a day for a while now and also want to thank everyone, we have received some great advice and help.

RSR, Congrats to your family and your DS! I can't wait for it all to start, it will give my wife and i excuses to go to New York now! I know it has been a lot of hard work for these young men and women, and i just want to say " well done!"
