This place is a great resource for anyone interested in a service academy. I have to thank all of the wonderfully knowledgeable contributors out there- you've answered a lot of my questions before I could even ask them! A little about me- I live in Colorado Springs, and have been wanting to serve in the Air Force and be the first in my family to attend the Academy since I was little. Only after going through the whole application process and receiving my appointment did I actually find this forum. A little late, but it's still been really useful!

And that's sweet that you got appointed to the class of '16! Hopefully we'll be serving together (well, you in the air and I on the ground) in a few years!
