I am an Alaskan Naval Academy class of 2014 hopeful. Just checking in to say "Good luck!" to everyone who is currently in the "painful waiting" stage.

Any 2014 Alaskan Congressional nominees on here, I'd love to hear from you!

What part of Alaska are you from? I have a friend in the University of Anchorage.
 
I'm from Anchorage. I took one of my dual-credt classes at UAA.

We are temporarily here in the "lower-48" helping to care for my grandmother, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I spent a couple of months in Anchorage with my best friend recently and will do so again this summer. I really miss my breathtaking home state!!

Where are you located? BTW, I like your quote. I'll have to share that one with my dad.

That's cool, my friend is in AFROTC at UAA. He is a freshman there now.

My location is next to my name :thumb: I'm at West Point, New York (USMA Cadet). I'm from Georgia though on the border so like 5 minutes from Alabama (I'll be going there next month for Spring Break) and I see that you're currently there.
