I am a Junior from Ohio. I currently attend a college prep school and have been on honor since freshman year. I will be applying for to the USNA as well as Ohio State -NROTC.

Some other colleges I have looked into are Purdue, Virgnia Military Institute, Norwich College in Vermont, and the Citadel.

I have run cross country at my school for 3 years and have earned 2 varsity letters, I have played lacrosse for a year now and I have played 3 years of baseball.

Not a whole lot more to say, but if you have any questions feel free to message me anytime. I am active on this site as well as on my email.

It's Norwich University if your thinking of the miltary school. I have heard good things about it too. Have you done some community service, scouts, Civil Air Patrol or JROTC? Something to let them know what leadership skills you possess? Good luck getting in, and you should know applications for at least some of the academies start now, so try to get them in early!

I am currently involved in community service projects and have logged over 100 hrs in the past 5 months along with being a captain on the baseball team and member of the varsity cross country team. The school I attend is not JROTC eligible and the nearest unit is out of reach for me. I have indeed started my application/nomination process.
Thank you for your response and correction on Norwich. I am interested in them and will be looking for more information in the coming months.
