2/c is one of the best times to bond with your classmates and experience what it is to be a leader. There's so much professional and personal development that summer. I think this video shows a nice chunk of it.

2/c summer is such a great summer. It definitely helped reinspire me after the academic rigor of 3/c year.

In general, I think you see your classmates at their worst over Swab Summer. They also see you at your worst. Maybe that breaks down the pride, but I will never forget my classmates who helped me when I was at my lowest.

2/c summer is almost the opposite. Over 2/c summer you will have some GREAT fun, but more importantly, you will see your classmates at their best, and they will probably see you at your best. It's your first chance to test yourself as a leader. Some things you won't do right, and you will learn. I was making leadership mistakes (that I still regret) into my first tour as an officer, but I learned from them, and I'm better for it. 2/c summer will send you along that path.

But... it is really fun.
