Has anyone been contacted in California?

He's a sophmore and plays varsity soccer. Starting the college hunt and USAFA is on the radar so trying to get as much research done. Keep me updated on how it's going.
 
I was nominated by Pete Aguilar district 31 for the USMA and USNA. Has anyone else been nominated from this district or now how competitive it is?

From what I know, California is in general a competitive state - 30+ kids interviewed for one open slot to USMA in CA-39 for 2020. Of course, only 10 got noms, but 4 have received appointments. I'm assuming your district will be similar.

Yeah I received my appointment last week!
 
Canislupus posted on a USNA thread that he received a nomination from Boxer. Looking at the appointment threads, it looks like most California applicants are still waiting to hear about appointments...
