Has anyone heard about NROTC scholarships?

I have been wondering when the NROTC 4 year scholarship review boards are, does anyone know? I have heard they started in late August and go through April, but would like to know the actual dates of the meetings.

Also, has anyone heard back from the August board? I'm not sure how long it takes for the results from one board to be announced and this whole waiting thing is stressing me out

I know the USMC has an October, November and February board. Not sure about Navy, I think they have rolling boards and you would be notified if you got yours in August.

I think the Navy boards run every two weeks. It's a long waiting game. Last year my son had 4 college acceptances by November, rearranged his list for the scholarship twice, finally heard Feb 13. He had his application and interview done by the end of August by the way. So good luck speak with the units that you are interested in going to, my son's unit gave some good pointers for us and I'm sure it helped in the process. Good luck, Go Navy!
