I was skimming through some of the threads here and read about a NWL letter.

I haven't received any letter stating I didn't make it on my senator's (or state rep.'s for that matter) ticket and am now on the NWL, yet its already going to be the end of march soon. I'd like to think that the admissions board has decided on their primary candidates by now, so does that mean I'm on the NWL? Also I read about early April being one of the last months to receive a notification from The Point--anybody who can confirm this?

Time is getting kind of cramped, and its getting stressful between class registration at my plan B university, especially now that the engineering department is or is getting full.

I have, however, received a rejection letter by accident (one of 5 kids in my region... or Texas not too sure).

Have you written your Admission's Representative? Do you have a nomination?

I'm not clear as to what this means. You got a rejection letter with someone else's name on it?

I got a rejection letter with my name on it so I called my FFR and he checked; I wasn't supposed to get one so it was like a big "just kidding " :p

And yes I have a senatorial nomination and a state representative nomination.

Don't give up hope yet. My DD received a Senatorial Nomination for USNA TX-26 and has still not heard a thing either. We are hearing that rejection letters are going out first so that kids can begin finalizing their Plan B. I do know that some candidates in our area received one a few weeks ago. I guess everyday there is not a TWE is a good day right now. That is just awful you received one by mistake!! There is at least one candidate that has been accepted on our Congressman's slate. He will be on the USNA Track and Field Team. Our DD will be competing against some very strong candidates on her Senatorial Slate. I believe she will hear either way probably next week, but no later than the end of March. After April 1 we were told that any news from the USNA will probably not be good news. I am very proud of DD because she is not anxious or stressed out. She is very faithful and at peace that God will open and close the doors where she needs to be.
