How bad does someone have to do in order to have his or her appointment? I'm just worried because this term got a lot harder and while I got a 3.7 last term, it might drop to a 3.4 or 3.2 this term. Is this gonna be a problem?

If it's still a 3.2 I wouldn't think so but it could always depend on how low those low grades are and what courses it's in. I suggest you start cracking the whip on yourself and seek out some academic help from the teacher or a tutor. What you're learning now is the base you will build upon next year. Without a goof foundation how can you build a superstructure? You still have time to turn this around.

I actually got in with around a 3.3. My grades are pretty good, but my GPA is bad. Just make sure you don't fail any classes or anything like that.

Of course, I am not admissions so I do not know for sure.

it would have to be something serious, like getting busted by cops or school admin for drugs, alchohol... you name it.

And they will look at your final semester grades to make sure appointees dont party hard and slack.

Bottomline, unless there is significant changes (such as your class grades suddenly dropping to D's and F's), you should be fine.
