A few notes about my attempt:
I took the physical in April I passed everything except the hearing portion of the test. My results were borderline but nonetheless failing. I happened to be sick at the time so I thought maybe my results could have been negatively effected. I was advised that I would surely be considered for a medical waiver (who needs to hear in the Army anyway?? ha) My request for waiver was denied. I was shocked. I had then decided to re-test because I believed that the headcold I had durring the original test would be more than enough to be the tipping factor. I re-tested at my ear doctor and passed narrowly but within ascession standards. I took the results to the ROTC unit I am applying to and they faxed it to cadet command. To be on the safe side I decided to again fax the new test results in myself. Time passed by and I hadn't recieved any new information. The unti had checked into the situation and discovered that they had to submit a "re-evaluation request" and by the voice mail I had received from my unit they had indicated they had done so. It is now December, 6 months after the original test and I have no answers. The recruiter assured me they would find out what happened but has yet produced any new information in my case. They are definetly interested and even wanted me to enrol in the class in the spring so they could get paperwork submitted so I could attend the summer camp to get me into the advanced classes for fall.

Mr. Mullens Please help! The last I know the paperwork is stuck somewhere between the rotc unit, cadet command, and DODMERB. No one seems to know where it is or what to do next. I have or can get any information you need. I just need to know what to do.. Ill email you my last 4 ssn.

Got your email and have already replied. I'm working something with your Commander and Cadet Command behind the scenes. Your Bn Commander will reply to you. :thumb: This is NOT a DoDMERB issue at this time

I have been contacted and will pursue my given options at this time. I am ever greatful for your help Mr. Mullens!! It is life changing!

Our pleasure. I corresponded with your Commander and the Cadet Command Surgeon's staff.:thumb:
