Helicopter License

I was not sure where to put this in the forums, so I thought I would get the most answers here. Does anyone know if you can get your private helicopter license without flying a certain amount of hours if you flew helicopters in the military?

Take your log books and check ride sheets to the local FAA office and, with 200 hrs you can get your commercial, 1500 hrs and a test, your ATR, and instrument rating, and not being too creative, a CFI.
