Hello everyone!
First off I want to thank whoever created this site as I have been on here for the past two years searching and reading threads over and over again whenever I needed assistance in this matter.
Unlike most people I know, it was not a life long dream to attend a service academy. Not until going into my Junior year of high school was I looking into them. Why this may be recycled a lot, I do have an ultimate dream of becoming an astronaut, second dream to fly, and third dream to be an engineer. The service academies fit the bill perfectly but was unsure if I could even get in and about the military at first.
So I stepped up my work in school and was fortunate enough to be accepted into USNA & USAFA's Summer Seminars but chose to attend USNA, and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life
To make a long story short I was accepted into USAFA's prep school and USNA offered me a Foundation scholarship. Was a very tough decision but choice the USNA Foundation route and will be attending Valley Forge Military College next month! I'm very excited about my future and can't wait to get started. I consider myself one of the most fortunate persons in the world to be able to have a chance at attending a service academy and pursuing my dreams.
