Greetings to all,
I stumbled across this forum a couple of months ago and have been lurking around every once in a while, just soaking up the information and observing. Needless to say, I wish I would have found this place a lot sooner as it would have helped tremendously with my applications (I'm a USAFA 2017 hopeful). I also came here because of the sense of community y'all seem to have here about the subject since I get none of that at home...to say my parents were less than thrilled to hear of my desire to become an AF officer would be the understatement of the century. Anyway, I'll try to contribute and support as best I can, as my insanely busy schedule will allow, and I wish all of the 2017 service academy applicants the best of luck.
Regards,
FlyingFuzz
P.S.- What are the rules here about "chance me" threads? I know that there is no magical rule based on certain stats/extracurriculars/etc., but it would be kind of nice to find out from some of you more educated people if I should hold out hope or be looking more seriously at some of my other options. I just don't want to get off on the wrong foot here- you know what I mean?
