    Hi

I am currently AD Enlisted Air Force. I'm lurking around the forum b/c I am doing a program that will let me go to ROTC to finish my degree. I will go to the Citadel. :) Feel free to ask any questions or whatnot :)

We were stationed at Ramstein around ten years ago. Loved the travel. Hopefully, you are seeing the sights before you head off to Charleston. DS is a current knob at The Citadel. One of his closest friends is former AD. Being former AD his friend keeps the military and class system aspects of the school in perspective. Good Luck to you and Congratulations.

    wow this is too crazy!

In high school I was accepted into the citadel for the class of 2014, but could not afford the nearly 30k/year tuition. I enlisted in the Air Force in March 2011, and now I'm looking at my options to become an officer. Which commissioning program were you selected for? Which ones did you apply for? Did you apply for the Air Force Academy? Are you joining the corp of cadets or are you taking classes at night? What were your major road bumps while applying for these commissioning programs? Sorry for all the questions, its just your situation is one I will be in next year (hopefully).

    Didn't see this earlier..
I applied for the SOAR. No, I actually wanted to enjoy college so no for AFA. For the Citadel, there is a new veteran's day program, I go to school with the cadets during the day, But I will not be a cadet. The time lines for the SOAR program can be wierd but the Citadel was great in making it happen. Make sure you volunteer a lot and be a leader.
