Hello everyone,
I'm applying to the USAFA and USMMA. I don't come from a military family, and I have not ALWAYS wanted to go to a service academy. I want to go becuase I always feel the need to keep challenging myself. I think that this is putting me at a disadvantage, but I am out here, trying to prove myself worthy anyhow.
I run cross country, and this spring I am going to run in the Pittsburgh Half Marathon. I intend to follow a career in engineering, because I love calculus.
The USAFA is my first choice, because I find their academic programs to fit my interests, as well as their athletic teams. I think that Colorado would be an exhilerating change of scenery. I also love the idea of parachuting. Snowboarding has been one of my hobbie because of how fast you can fly down a mountain, and I think that parachuting would be an incredible upgrade to that adrenalin rush.
That is just a little bit about myself.
