I am currently active duty military and have received my orders for USAFAPS. I'm making arrangements with TMO for my house hold goods (HHG) and privately owned vehicle (POV) shipments to my home of record (HOR). I was told by my TMO technician that due to my orders stating that, "Member is not authorized a POV while assigned to the USAFA Prep School. Miminum storage facilities are available and only the bare minimum hold baggage should be shipped." that I would be storing/shipping my belongings at my own expense.
Does this sound right? Does anyone know any DOD travel regulations that permits shipment of HHG and POV to my HOR?
