Has anyone heard from late Senator Inouye's office? I called his office last week but they said they they haven't made decisions yet. I was hoping they would have by now. When is the deadline to select who gets nominations?
 
Hello! During my interview with Senator Inouye's office, they said that the staff would make their recommendation and then present it to the next Senator (now revealed to be Mrs. Hirono). After approving the board's decision, the nominations will be released. Hope this helps, and keep us updated!
 
Yes! thank you this has made feel a little more at ease knowing that I'm still in the running. I was beginning to think that they had forgotten about it since all the other MOCs already announced their nominations:wink::wink: and yes I'll keep u updated! And good luck to you as well. It appears that you might go to USAFA. Maybe I'll see you there!:thumb::thumb:

No wonder... there are no press releases at all. DD received principal nom from Sen. Akaka and competetive from Cong. Hanabusa, but nothing from the late Sen. Inouye.

Congratulations to your DD on her nominations :yllol: And just to be clear, your daughter received a PRINCIPAL nomination from Akaka? I received a nomination from him too but it was a competitive nomination. Which academy did your DD apply too?

And if she did receive a principal nomination from Akaka to an academy I wouldn't even worry about Inouye. She's pretty much a shoe in as long as she's 3Q'd.

DD has an appointment to USMMA (Principal from Sen. Akaka) and competetive nom Cong. Hanabusa for USNA. Which SA are you applying at? Goodluck to you, too!
