High School Doesn't Rank

Hello,

My high school does not rank, so does that mean that West Point will not even look at my transcripts? I did pretty well on the SAT (710R 750M 780W), so will they compare my SAT score to my school's average or the national average?

I am very nervous, as I have received more than a few B's on my report card. The regional commander emailed me last week and said I could qualify for an LOA.

Thanks,

They will definitely look at your transcripts. They will compare your SAT scores to national averages. Those scores are very impressive, congratulations

Hey,

I'm in a similar situation as you; my high school does not rank, but my SAT scores are high. I would submit your transcript anyways; I'm pretty sure West Point still looks at your high school transcripts, but they are not weighed as heavily as standardized test scores. Hope that helps and good luck!

You must submit your transcripts in order to complete your application and be considered for qualification.

For HS students -
Now until the new year: 6 semesters
New Year until deadline: 7 semesters
Before R-Day: 8 semesters

If you miss either of those last two, WP can withdraw your qualification (ie. you aren't getting in).

they need your transcripts to make sure you took the required classes (4 year of Math, etc...)
