High School Transfer

I am a freshmen going into my sophomore year of high school, and as of right now I am considering transferring from public high school to private high school. I was wondering how the academies would view transferring in the middle of high school, and if any special steps would need to be taken when it comes to applying later on.

I don't think it would be a very big deal, especially this early in high school. I transferred from home school to public school after 9th grade and I have encountered zero difficulties. I would, however, consider different aspects of each school. For example, does one offer more advanced classes (AP/honors) than the other?

I went to 3 different high schools (2 different states and one abroad) and didn't encounter any problems at all.
