Hello, I am a member of an Army JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction, and I am trying to obtain a nomination to USAFA under this category. Where can I find the paperwork for this category?

From the USAFA Catalog:

Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) and Air Force Junior ROTC
Five students may be nominated to the Academy every year from each college or university AFROTC detachment as well as
honor graduates from each eligible honor high school with Air Force Junior ROTC. College or university students must submit
their applications to the Professor of Aerospace Studies. High school students must submit their applications to the Aerospace
Science Instructor.

Have your SAI contact USAFA and request a form O-762. It has to go to your school's principal first, then your SAI. Each Honor Unit may nominate 5. The form then gets submitted to USAFA.

Only 20 appointments available in this category across all ROTC and JROTC nominations.

A question from me: You are Army JROTC?

Is an Army JROTC unit allowed to nominate to USAFA? I know a USAF JROTC unit can ONLY nominate to USAFA.

An Honor Unit with Distinction is completely different. They are allowed to nominate to USAFA, West Point and Naval Academy. Each SA has different paperwork to complete and different deadlines.

I'll have to ask around to see what units the AZ area are so identified!!!
