Any suggestions of a hotel for someone arriving by himself for I-day?
one that allows someone the age of 18 to check in and close to USNA?

    This Is A Possibility

Check out paragraph #2 below. It's not a hotel, but it will soon be home for many of you, including my son.:thumb:

Yep, that's where I'll be staying.

I wonder what it will be like when we wake up already in Bancroft on I-Day... Kicked out at 6 am? Sleep in for one last time?

Ach, who cares. I'll struggle to get any sleep that night, anyway!

    On Second Thought

If my previous suggestion was not to your liking, and I completely understand if it wasn't :shake:, check the B&B, Lodging tab on the page below.
    Cheers...

Many of us stayed at the Loews in downtown Annapolis....a 10-15 minute walk or a short shuttle (complimentary) ride to USNA. There were definitely plebe-to-be's with no parents staying there the night before I-Day.

Loew's is pretty expensive. There are several B&B's near USNA that might be cheaper. Even the Historic Inns of Annapolis would be cheaper, from what I've seen the past four years. O'Callahan's is a longer walk than Historic Inns, but still in easy walking distance for a Plebe-to-be.
