Hotel Reservations

Myself and a friend are planning on flying into COS on Sunday 6/17, and wanted to stay in a hotel for the night and then get a ride to SS on the 18th. We are having a hard time finding a hotel that will take 2 people that are 17 yrs old. We wanted to come in a little early to acclimate to the altitude a little. Anyone have any suggestions for us.

Try the Best Western/Academy Hotel on Academy Blvd. They work with USAFA a lot for different events and are experienced in dealing with minors who need a room for a night before an Academy event. Our son stayed there a couple of times when he went out to COS before his Doolie year.

Sounds like fun to go together! Just to let you know though, most people will not be acclimated so it is not really a terrible thing if you arent. First pt is not too difficult for that very reason.
