I will be joining an AFROTC program next year when I enter college and was wondering if someone could explain to me the process by which you eventually receive your AFSC. What all do they look at?

I am primarily interested in Intelligence (14N) and Operations Research Analysis (61A) and intend to study Computer Science. How competitive are these non-rated slots with a technical major?

Depends on the year. I'm currently waiting to hear about my AFSC and this year my first choice only has 9 slots while my second which is intel has 88. That will change next year most likely. They need cyber officers so if major in computer science they will probably put you in cyber operations. That's not definite but likely. What they look at are your AFOQT scores, PFA, GPA, Commanders ranking, and Field training reports.
