it's only a quarter.... your semester gpa is what REALLY matters. work EXTREMELY hard to get high A's to pull your gpa to a 4.0 for the final semester average.

I'm graduating with a 3.4 weighted, and I was appointed to NAPS. But the class office thing is great, they love leadership skills. That will also help you get a nomination. But on the GPA thing, make sure that you're taking the classes USNA is looking for (ie. Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, Foreign Language) to show that you're a well rounded student and a jack of all trades. A few APs here and there won't kill you at all either so just do it, haha. What year are you anyway? I'm sure you can bring it up before HS graduation.
