How do we address them now?

Are they now officially Plebe Candidates or are they still just Candidates. One question I didn't ask during our phone call. Don't want to get him in trouble with CO's because it is address incorrectly or is that still happening?
 
They are Plebe Candidates from now until Acceptance Day. After Acceptance Day, they are Plebes until Recognition in the spring. After Recognition, they're 4th Class mids until the change of command at the end of June, when they become 3rd Class mids.
 
Thank you very much. So if they did not get their PO Box number by today, when will they get it? He didn't mention anything about getting one and we didn't ask.
 
Basically, as "all things else KP", he will get it when he gets it. And you will find out when your ds/dd has time to email/mail or gets the privilege of calling. HOnestly, the way KP has things set up is to everyone's advantage, though it is hard to feel in the beginning. I learned a long time ago that no news is good news. When they are at sea, if the ship has no email, then if ds can find WIFI at port, we'll get communication from him. Hang in there. Get support from you state or region's USMMA Parent Association. it really helped me besides the forum.
 
And don't worry ...

In the end they are still college student age young adults and when they need money they will figure out how to get in contact with you:wink:

Actually it was sort of fun. My son is now back as a 1c and I almost....almost felt like a normal mom last week buying fitted sheets, comforter and,,,,gasp gasp, a small throw rug for his room. Crazy, the 1C's are elated with the small priviledge of actually sleeping between the sheets now :)
