Newbie still learning how to navigate the forum. Would appreciate if someone could show me how to PM a person on the forum. Thanks

It shows the OP has already made 348 posts in the 2 yrs they have been here. Is someone else now using your profile?
 
Folks. This thread went back to mid-April of 2016! I think the OP has figured it out by now.
 
Just a warning to everyone. If you spam a bunch of nonsense posts to raise your post count, they will be deleted. The idea of the 5 post requirement is to have people be a productive member of the forum before they can send private messages to other members.

Hello, is the requirement 5 posts or 10 posts? I just created an account and I'm confused, sorry!
 
After five posts (bona fide posts that actually participate in a discussion), a new account will be "cycled" in a day or so, and allowed to conduct personal conversations (PM's)
 
Another hint:

Look at the dates of posts. @spencermc you are responding to a post from April 15th, 2016. Over 4 years ago. Poster is probably long gone by now. At least their post is.
