How is DoDMERB info shared between academies?

After a candidate has his/her DoDMERB medical examination for one academy (say USMA), and the results eventually get forwarded by the physician's office to that academy, how / by what mechanism is that then shared with any other academies or ROTC institutions? Does USNA or Norwich or USCGA "discover" the results in some central database, or is it incumbent upon the candidate to trigger the submittal to the other institutions in some way? DS has not been able to find this answer anywhere.

Or am I wrong about a single exam fulfilling requirements across all of them and do they each have different Qualified levels that then necessitate a "USNA"-specific exam and a "USAFA"-specific exam in adition to the "USMA" exam? That seems unlikely but then again anything is possible in this topsy-turvey world of appointments .

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

DukeofEarl,
When another SA submits your name to DoDMERB for the medical exams, DoDMERB checks their database for your Name and SSN and will then reveiw your existing exam results to determine your status based upon the specific requirements for each SA. If you check the DoDMERB site: https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil/UserLogin.aspx

it will list another SA that has requested to review your exams and the status will state "STATUS: U.S. Air Force Academy: Under DoDMERB Review" and after reviewed it will state "Qualified" or "Remedial Requested" or "Disqualifited". Check out FAQ on dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil site.

Hope that helps answer your questions!

When I click on the dodmerb link above, I get a message about an invalid server certificate. Is anyone else getting this message?
