I called my congressman whom I got a nomination from, and he said that he was starting to get a list from the service academies of people that theyve selected for admission. However, he also said that more notificatons were coming. Can more than one person get nominated from a district? For example, could three people get accepted from IL-03? And what are the chances of this happening?

Yes it can happen. Our Congressman issues seperate press releases for nominees and appointees so it is pretty easy to figure out how many people were successful in converting a nomination into an appointment as well as how many in our district landed an appointment from other sources other than our representative. In the case of Air Force our district had 4 appointees last year, 3 receiving a nomination from our representative, 1 from another source. That was last year, no guarentee it will repeat this year.

As mentioned in other threads, your moc's slate guarantees at least one to receive an appointment. But hypothetically, the remaining 9, could all go into the national pool, and ALL 9 could receive an appointment.

Once the slate is given an appointment, and the remaining go to the national pool, district and state is no longer an issue. In theory; after the 535 (just averaging each MOC having 1 available slot) is giving appointments; the remaining 500+/- appointments could ALL come from New Jersey if the academy had all of them with the highest scores.
