I have already talked to one member on here about it but I want to know what everyone thinks. My son got ISS(in school suspension) for lying to his teacher so he could get out of class early way back in 10th grade. Is this going to be enough to keep him from attaining an appointment assuming he is qualified in other areas? Or will the admissions board just not care about it or will they even see it?

Best solution - fully disclose this to the Regional WP Admissions Officer. It will probably not be a major problem if your son is truly sorry and learned from the incident.

Sounds like a perfect topic for an essay. "How ISS changed my life."
