I would like to send my son a printer and have the company mail it directly to him. Does anyone know where to send packages and how to address them?

Thanks in advance.

If the company will ship to a PO Box just use his regular mailing address.

If company won't ship to PO Box and has to have street address, use the pak mail address:

Cadet John Doe
2302 Cadet Drive, Box XXXX (his PO Box number, but don't include the 'PO' part)
USAF Academy CO 80840

Note the different zip code. Pak mail needs the Box # to separate the packages.

There is a $3 (might be $2) your cadet will need to pay at pak mail to pick up the package.

They don't get notification they have a box at pak mail, and pak mail is not in the same building where they get their regular mail. (might be Harmon Hall, but don't know for sure -- he could definitely ask his C3C 'coach' where pak mail is)

Other possibility is to ship to his sponsor's house (get their approval first to mail stuff there) and avoid the $3 fee to pick up the package.

PackMail is in Richter Lounge (where the Subway and Godfather's Pizza is) in Arnold Hall. Minor detail, but I've never included my PO Box number on PackMail packages. They sort by name. There's a $3 fee per package, so as greentrees said, just send direct to the PO Box if the company allows that.

The $3 is extremely annoying...especially if you buy a lot of stuff online. They really don't do much to deserve the $3 except to pretent to be your house instead of a PO Box.

Well it may not seem like they do much. But it cost me about $144/yr to have a mailbox at a UPS store. So that would be like 48 packages. So $3 is probably a pretty good deal. Afterall, they do have to pay rent, pay employees, etc...
