Hey i just recievd an email of acceptance to the USNA summer seminar session one and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what i should do to get in shape. My running conditioning is pretty good, its everything else that im worried about. Also if you could provide me with a list of Phyical standards i need to meet that would be great:smile:

ok thanks. should i do that all at once? and about how long does one workout take?

When you're there you're going to take the CFA (for your admissions package) and the PRT (for fun). So when you come you should be in good condition to score decently on the CFA. It makes life a lot easier when you can have that requirement finished early on, rather than waiting for your gym teacher or coach to do it in the fall. (FYI you can take the CFA as many times as you want)

There is also a program on the Academy website that is for preparing for Plebe summer but it can also be used for NASS :)

Thanks a bunch this is just long enough to where i finish i start SS like two days later

Make sure that when you guys are doing sit-ups you do them the academy way, arms crossing over your chest and hold your collar to keep your arms from lifting. I didn't know we had to them that way until NASS and they were a lot harder to do for some reason.

And practice duck walking lol
You'll see what I mean when you get there.
