I'm currently a junior right now and I have my mind set. I know that Marine Option can pretty much guarantee a flight slot and that is what I want, and I know I just have to qualify medically and with the ASTB, I think that is what it is called.

I am going to apply to Embry Riddle FL, the Coast Guard Academy, ASU, and some other little back-ups. I want to apply for Army, Marine option, and AF scholarships this year. How am I shaped up with these stats:

25 Composite ACT
1100 SAT, I am gonna take a prep course and take it again in May.
top 5% of Class
Mitchell Award and Cadet Commander of Civil Air Patrol Squadron
Youth Group Officer for 4 years
I will have 2 years of High School Swim Team, hopefully be co-captain next year, it was my first year this year.
Coast Guard Auxiliary
I work as a score keeper for a basketball league and I'm also a camp counselor in the summer.

Go for it

Hey, you never know unless you for it! I was pleasantly surprised to receive Air Force and Navy ROTC scholarships and two nominations to USAFA. Wouldnt hurt to get those SAT/ACT scores though, your ECs look fine and class rank is great! :thumb:

I forgot to mention my GPA is about a 3.6
The thing that I am worried about is from reading another post that Marine Option scholarships aren't easy to come by compared to the Navy scholarships. What do you guys think?

Your stats look pretty similar to mine, but the thing is you're a junior and im a senior haha. I suggest you keep it up and continue being active in academics and ec. Other than that you look chances should be good.
