My sons school has an upcoming "College Night" w/150 college reps attending. Anyone know how I might find out if USNA will be participating? Guidance isn't sure.

Typically BGOs attend these college fairs. It's rare for CGO to attend.

Most HS's on LI are big. My sons Catholic HS graduate about 600/yr.

Chaminade is a great school and their chief rival. We didn't list them on our CHSEE "wish list" because my sons refused to attend an all boys school. I didn't blame them and they're very happy where they are.

CGO should be able to give you the name of the area coordinator for Long Island and the coordinator should know if one of the BGOs in that area is attending the college fair.

    ^^^^

Our area has a BGO whose sole task is organizing BGOs around college fairs (and related activities). Your Area Coordinator will know this. I would be surprised if a BGO isn't "assigned" to such a large event -- typically, the BGO whose school it is volunteers and, if he/she can't do it, someone takes his/her place. I'm going to a 5-school event tonight where there will be at least 3 BGOs in attendance.

Don't have a CGO or BGO. Sent an email to admissions. I guess it doesn't really matter cuz we'll be there anyway.
Just have to find him or her in the crowd!

    Stage4Survivor,

CGO is the Candidate Guidance Office. Here is the number - (410) 293-4361. The office will be able to tell you the name of the LI area coordinator.
