Hi all!

I thought many of the new cadet families wouldn't realize that the Colorado Springs Gazette follows the academy fairly closely at times. Yesterday was one of those times.

So take a look at this link; it's the first of the "arrival" articles.

And if the parents of the poor basic in the picture is on this forum...well, you know he arrived! :thumb:

Webguy is another way to keep tabs on the new Basics.

He already has hundreds of pictures posted from getting off the bus...to haircuts, to being screamed at on the famous footprints....I can't tell you how many hours I spent last year combing thru those photos looking for ANYTHING--an arm, a pony-tail--ANYTHING that resembled my Basic.

He also has a blog where he explains what they are doing each day. I can't tell you how much this means to parents. We're lucky USAFA allows him this inside access. He also covers big events, Recognition, Ring Dance, Graduation, etc.. www.usafawebguy.com

WebGuy Photos Sorted by Squadron

Flymom--go to Parent Forums on Web Guy--Vitosmom just broke the "code" today to directly access sorted pictures by squadron---so you are searching about 100 pictures a day vs. 1,300! Very helpful link.
