I think I have just received a nomination... maybe?

I just checked my USMA Candidate Portal, and under nominations there is a green check beside NC12 (my Representative district). Does this mean I have earned that nomination? When I click on it, it goes to the nominations tab, and there is a chart titled nominations received, and NC12 is listed. Curious as to what that means, if it means I have gotten the nomination or something else. Any insight?
 
Congrats OBT2018! Indeed you have received a nomination from your congressman. Just remember that 9 other candidates could have also received that same nomination, so continue to update your file with any additional accomplishments until the application process closes in February.
