1)Only firstie cadets are allowed to participate in CSEAP or CSSAP?

2)They also need take the DLAB?

3)This program will hurts the cadet's schedule?

<Let's say he/ she was accepted into a civilian university ,i.e, CSSAP, so how his/her MPA and PEA will works?>

Thanks

1. I don't think it is limited to Firsties. My son did CSLIP as a Junior, however that's not the same as CSEAP or CSSAP so I cannot say definitively.

2. As far as I know cadets do not take the DLAB. They take language placement exams at the beginning of Doolie year that are similar to the DLAB.

3. It didn't hurt my son's schedule, but his was a three-week program over Spring Break, not a whole semester. I will let someone with more knowledge of that answer this question.

Stealth_81,

Thanks

Yeah... Now I think that take the summer language immersion program is better than a whole semester.

My DD did CSLIP during the summer between sophomore and junior year. She studied abroad during the fall semester of her senior year but juniors did too.

My son went to Brazil for the summer and now will be TDY there for several months for language immersion (he's a 1LT).

OP: are you concerned about this? Why?
