Yes, R-Day is June 27th. Its been confirmed on here a few times. March Back from BCT will take place on August 8 and the A-Day parade will be on August 13. All these dates and others from the 2011-12 school year are available on USMA's website.

During reorgy week you'll get issued things like computers, class schedules, textbooks, etc. It's designed to be a transition week from summer training to the academic year.

You unpack all your bags into your new room and put everything where it goes. You do this in between getting issued things (like Jake mentioned). You aren't allowed anywhere alone during this week as you are still a New Cadet so your Team Leader will make sure you get everything you need done by escorting you.

Also, I know it is a very long way off, but my parents were wondering if during plebe-parent weekend if siblings are allowed to attend the festivities or if it is for parents only.

Anyone is welcome although you will have to pay if you go over a certain amount of guests.

Assuming I get appointed my birthday is during beast. Do they track down these people and make them do extra special things like more running:eek:? I was planning on keeping it to myself

Yes, most will stay in Highland Falls or other nearby hotels. Just remember to get reservations early because there will be a lot of families coming and the longer you wait, the farther the available hotels will be from campus. One of the parents on the forum might be able to point you in the right direction as far as which hotels are best.

My 18th birthday was during Beast and nothing happened to me. That being said, any "special treatment" that may or may not happen on your birthday is entirely dependent on your chain of command.

I can almost guarantee you that if they do find out and decide to do something, it will be something funny and not something like "more running". :thumb:

Ok. Do you happen to know what that number is? It will probably only be my mom, dad, and brother. Thank you very much

It was about 2. It wasn't a limit per say but there was a maximum amount of money that would just be taken from your cadet account ($50) and any expenses over that would come out of your pocket. Tickets were about $20 and the class memento (last year it was a Class of 2013 knife) was about $15. (you could choose wether to take this or not)
