There is a Facebook Group STRICTLY for Appointed Midshipmen Class of 2018. The group is private so no one will be able to find it by searching. If you, your son, or your daughter, is an accepted candidate for the Class of 2018, please friend request "Midshipmen Appointees" and that person (alias obviously) will see to it that the administrators of the private group add you, your son, or your daughter.
The purpose of the private page is to allow future shipmates to get to know each other and talk freely and comfortably with one another. It already has 200+ members and is expanding rapidly.
Keep in mind, this private group is ONLY for soon-to-be plebes at the Naval Academy. (that means no parents
