Wanted to welcome the Indiana USNA class of 2028. The Indiana Parent club would love to introduce ourselves and welcome you all aboard.
The purpose of the United States Naval Academy Parent's Club Indiana is to provide information and support to the parents and guardians of the USNA appointees, midshipmen and graduates. Membership is open to any Indiana parent or guardian of USNA appointee, midshipmen or graduate.
We meet from 4-6 times a year. Our programs provide an opportunity for parents to learn and to ask questions about topics of mutual interest.
This club was started to help parents new to the academy understand the myriad of activities, processes and practices that are part of their midshipmen's life during his or her years at the USNA and beyond.
Each year in June we have a Welcome aboard picnic where your incoming Plebe will get a chance to meet other Plebe's from Indiana. Parents get a formal presentation on what to expect during plebe summer and also meet board members as well as former midshipmen. Plebes also are given a chance to practice their shooting skills for their upcoming plebe summer range qualifications to earn their first ribbon on their rack.
