If deemed competitive, a SA will seek a waiver on your behalf. My question is...will they inform you if the waiver process is initiated? Or do you have to wait and basically checked the DODMERB portal everyday for progress?
I'm no expert on this, but I was DQ'd two months ago for AFROTC. Never received anything saying they've submitted a waiver request, but I was awarded a scholarship so I'm pretty sure they did it anyway.
DS's DODMERB portal status changed, but his USNA portal did not. He did receive an email from the Medical Technician at USNA to let him know they would process the waiver and how that process would go.
