how long does it take after you accept the appointment until you receive the instructions for candidates offered admission?

In the past its been referred to as "second step" requirements. This includes, dental records, finger prints, shoe size, shoe purchase letter for low quarters and so forth. One real important bit of info they need as soon as possible is your 7th semester transcripts. Now this is all conditional, in other words if some of these requirements are not completed with in the time frame, your appointment can be withdrawn, especially the transcripts, a negative contact with law enforcement and injury. The next phase will come shortly as well as another packet in the mail with instructions.

The first admissible mailing that contains a lot of what tug mentioned will go out shortly (on your portal). The additional envelopes for the police check and dental records will be physically sent. Additionally, you'll get a new mailing that is title something along the lines Instructions for Candidates Offered Admission that details those timelines and what you need to do to prepare for R-Day and Beast.

As 845 mentioned above about the FB page. It should be titled West Point Class of 2020 Moms snd Dads. The closed group is managed by Deb Dalton, a civilian public affairs official. So its a WP supported site. It is asked not to share any information from that FB page to cadets or here on SAF.

Even if you (or your parents) join any of those supposedly 'private' FB pages, I would still NOT post personally identifiable information about any one person. There are just too many ways for others to view that information, regardless of how closed they claim their membership is.
